Marathon Fundraiser
Congratulations to Shannon, Cassie, Kristi, Corrine and Kristie who ran the Gold Coast Half Marathon in memory of their dear friend Casey Kinnaird who died in a cycling accident in 2014.
Casey, like Nicole, was a viviacious, talented and inspiring young woman taken from us way too early. Both girls were lovers of life, family, friends and sport.
The girls completed the 21kms in under two hours and raised over $6,000 for Nicole Fitzsimons Foundation! They were an inspiring team wearing Foundation singlets and encouraging each other all the way and finishing together.
Children with their dads competed in the 2km run to make a fun family weekend cheered on by Julie and Vince Fitzsimons.
